Uttaradit: run, explore and stay local

Uttaradit is welcoming runners with a varied programme during the second half of 2026. The calendar ranges from a community health run and mountain trails through Laplae's orchards to endurance challenges and a scenic event around Sirikit Dam. It gives competitive runners, families and active travellers several reasons to discover this quieter northern province.

This guide is based on the promotional calendar available on 2 August 2026. Event dates, start times, registration and routes may change. Always confirm the organiser's latest announcement before paying entry fees, booking accommodation or purchasing transport.

Planning accommodation and transport

City events are easiest from accommodation near the station, main roads or start area. Laplae, Sirikit Dam and rural venues require a realistic early-morning transfer check. Drivers should confirm parking and late check-in, while trail runners may need an extra night for equipment collection and post-race recovery.

Before travelling

  • Reconfirm race day, BIB collection and start time with the organiser.
  • Prefer flexible accommodation while the schedule remains subject to change.
  • Match shoes and mandatory equipment to road, trail or endurance format.
  • Save the start pin and allow extra time for pre-dawn transport.
  • Review weather, personal health and safety announcements close to race day.

A running weekend can connect Uttaradit's sport calendar with Laplae, Sirikit Dam, local food and community stays. Plan from current official information, travel responsibly and leave enough time to enjoy the province beyond the finish line.
